Just like my Adopt A Monster swap over at swap-bot. I'm also hosting an Adopt A Sea Creature swap! It's being hosted in my group Rainbows & Rainclouds along with several other really fun swaps coming up!
I have a vague idea on what I'd like to do, well a couple of ideas! So, really, I'm not quite sure yet!
I'm trying to get into the more handmade swaps than anything. I'm kinda getting burnt out on a lot of things. But I figure if I try some new craft it may make it more exciting for me! So small and not so small handmade things are good.
Although with Christmas coming up, I'm going to have to slow down on a bit of swapping until that is passed!

Adopt A Monster
So I recently hosted this Adopt A Monster swap at Swap-bot.com. Where everyone had to create a Monster, that was cuddly, and a Birth Certificate and a story behind where the Monster had came from
One of the members already created hers and sent me the link to her wonderful, very adorable creation! You can read about it here: Vella The Sea Monster Plush.
I haven't yet to finish mine. Well, I have finished my little monster and like the above he only has one eye. But mine is not a squid-like creature and he's pink! Yes a little pink boy with green spots. I think he's rather cute. But I still need to create the Birth Certificate and the background story. I've got so many odd and wonderful stories running through my head, I'm not quite sure what to write! I'm sure I'll think of something soon!
I have a craft fair coming up the weekend of September 24th. For the Balloon Festival here. This festival is so great! There's tons of Hot Air Balloons, and in the evening, they start firing them up to get ready for take off! It's a gorgeous sight to see! All those balloons floating into the air. You can see them floating around Abilene all weekend! Well, my mother got us a spot there, and she has a few little tables and a gazebo since it's been so sunny and hot here, we're going to be sitting under her little gazebo. I have to work the booth by myself on Friday since she has to do her secretarial duties that day at work, then she'll be by afterwards to help out. I have no idea how I am going to contain the toddler so he doesn't run off. A play pen is useless, he'll climb out! =/.
Anyways, I have jewelry, felt creations, polymer clay creations and a bit of sewing before my darling old sewing machine broke. It's going to cost more to fix it than the sewing machine is worth. *cry*. Oh well, maybe in a couple months I can get another one!

A Newbie!!
To blogging that is. I really am a newbie. I just wanted someplace to showcase my crafts I create, other crafters items, some fun tutorials, giveaways and off the wall ramblings.
I sell on etsy so would like to be able to feature some fabulous finds here as well. I know nothing about blogging, or how to make my blog look pretty like a lot I've seen around the net. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
